Artist's Description

Some Good to know information:

"Also known as viola, wild pansy and heart’s ease, the johnny jump up is actually a relative of the pansy. The difference between johnny jump ups and pansies is mostly one of size. Pansies have much larger flowers, although they look very similar. On the other hand, johnny jump ups produce many more flowers per plant and are much more heat tolerant, making johnny jump up planting even more ideal.
Surprisingly, johnny jump ups have an unusual use; they’re one of a group of rare edible flowers. Along with violets and squash blossoms, these blooms can be picked, washed and added to salads, floated in cocktails and even frozen in ice cubes for a decorative touch at parties."

About Adrian De Leon Art and Photography

Adrian De Leon Art and Photography

Thank you for visiting! Here you'll find different styles of art. Mainly photography but have recently learned painting and drawing. I have been a stay at home mom the last 18 years. My husband and I have 6 children, 5 girls, 1 boy. We all are artsy and musical. My husband and I started dating back in high school and have been together since ( almost 22 years) people call us high school sweet hearts :) I started taking an interest in photography around 14 years ago when I was still new at being a stay at home mother. To capture moments of our children growing up, I started with a power shot point and shoot camera, you know the ones that took film lol, love that camera! That's when the love of photography began. I've always loved being...
